Terms of use

These terms cover your use of Meetingy (meetingy.com), run by [legal entity name], [registered address] (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them.

What Meetingy is

Meetingy lists small-group activities run by independent local hosts: sports, food, walks, classes, games and similar. You can join activities, see who is in your group from the day before, check in on the day, and afterwards privately pick people you would like to see again. When two people pick each other, both are told.

Hosts are not our employees or agents. Each host is responsible for their activity, venue, pricing and safety. We review hosts before their pages go live, but we don't supervise activities.

Who can use Meetingy

• You must be at least [18/20] years old and able to agree to these terms where you live.
• One account per person, with your real first name and age.
• Meetingy is for group activities and making friends. It is not a dating service.

How to behave

• Be kind and respectful, online and in person. No harassment, hate, threats, or unwanted sexual attention.
• Respect people's choices. A pick that isn't returned is private, and nobody is told who didn't pick them.
• Don't use Meetingy to sell, recruit or promote anything to other members.
• Meet in the public place the activity is held. Tell someone where you are going.

You can block anyone you've been in a group with, and report any problem from the activity page or meetingy.com/report. We may pause or close accounts that break these rules, and release their upcoming spots.

Deposits and no-shows

In some cities, joining an activity takes a small deposit, shown before you pay. The deposit holds your spot:

• If you check in at the activity, the deposit is refunded after it ends.
• If you cancel at least 24 hours before the start, the deposit is refunded.
• If the host cancels, or we release your spot, the deposit is refunded.
• If you cancel later than that, or don't come, the deposit is kept.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card refunds usually take 5 to 10 days to appear. For PromptPay, Stripe emails you to ask which bank account to refund. If you think a deposit was kept by mistake, tell us through meetingy.com/report. The price of the activity itself is set by the host and paid to them, usually at the venue. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (your name, fun fact, reviews, photos if you host). You give us permission to show it on Meetingy for the purposes described here. Hosts confirm they have the right to post their photos.

Our responsibility

We work to keep Meetingy safe and running, but we can't guarantee that every activity happens as described or that everyone you meet behaves well. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for what happens at activities run by hosts. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from meetingy.com/account. We may close accounts that break these terms. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before the change applies.
