Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Meetingy collects, why, and what you can do about it. Meetingy is operated by INSIDEA, Inc., a Delaware corporation, which is the data controller.

What we collect

• Account and profile. Name, email, title, company, website, LinkedIn URL, region, topics, bio, and the verification evidence you submit.
• Requests and responses. Request text, written answers, voice memos, call recordings, transcripts, approved quotes, messages in threads, and the placements and citations linked to them.
• Usage. Pages visited and actions taken, collected with Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites. Error reports may include the page and the account involved.
• Payment. Handled by Stripe. We keep the plan and status, never card numbers.

Why we use it

• To match requests to leaders. Profiles, requests and quotes are turned into numeric embeddings for matching.
• To transcribe recordings, extract quotes, and estimate whether written answers were machine-generated. These calls go to OpenAI or Google under contracts that prohibit training on your data.
• To check published pages for your name and company, and to ask AI systems whether they cite you, so you can see where your placements travel.
• To send the emails you signed up for: request alerts, answers, acceptances, call confirmations, and a daily digest you can switch off in Settings.

Who can see what

• Leader profiles, approved quotes and verified placements are public by design, on a page you can switch off in Settings.
• A writer sees the responses to their own requests. A leader sees their own responses. Nobody else sees either.
• Recordings are available to the two people on the call and to Meetingy staff for support and abuse review. They are deleted 90 days after the call.
• Processors: Supabase (database and storage, United States), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), OpenAI and Google (AI processing), Stripe (payments).

Your rights

You can export or delete your data from Settings, or by emailing hello@meetingy.com. Deleting an account removes the profile, unpublished responses, recordings and messages within 30 days. Approved quotes already published under licence remain with the publication. Residents of the EU, UK and California have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR and the CCPA, which we honour on request.

Retention and security

Account data is kept while the account exists. Recordings are kept 90 days. Audit and security logs are kept 12 months. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited by row-level security in the database, and staff access is logged.

We will email account holders about material changes at least 14 days in advance. Contact hello@meetingy.com for anything about this policy.
